Last Thursday I went with my father, cousin, and uncle to visit the area of Murang’a that we come from. It was the morning that we left, and when we arrived there, we began with our new house in my dad’s plot, where I went and ventured down to the bottom of our land. There wasn’t a river there like I expected, but there were many trees and several banana crops that were there. After crossing, I had seen that there was a man there walking with a cane. I continued on my way until I reached a slope extending upward that I managed to reach, which opened itself up to another path to the riverbed. Seeing there was more to the natural features, I went until I could photograph the bamboo plants that were there. After documenting that and several other plants, I realized that the riverbed had some moss and fungus that I hadn’t seen before. Then I turned back and continued up to where I had seen the river crossing when I encountered another individual with the man. We briefly introduced ourselves to one another and then, I departed up to the field. I assumed I had been lost in the brambles, but I actually was able to find my way through and reached my dad’s house, unharmed.
