Today I went to look for my clothes at the drycleaner. They weren’t ready so I went and had a soda at Moyo’s. It was nice, though I was feeling the heat of the day while I was sitting there. In efforts to use the day wisely, I had decided to go to TRM to have lunch by myself. The Uber ride there was fine, quiet and allowed me to find solace in my music, and I arrived safely by the security post at Gate B. Directly after entering I went to Java Café and I sat down and ordered a nice drink of dawa and chicken and mushroom with chips and salad. The meal was flavorful and well portioned so I had been able to finish, and I left a tip. Feeling like I had to go to shop at Carrefour, I went and bought some cocoa butter and chocolate bars for myself, imported. After I left I went and browsed the electronics shop for a new phone and boombox speaker for myself. The ride home was fairly smooth, and I talked with my Uber driver along the way about the weather and other moments of the season. I was left at my doorstop and wished him well as he drove away. When I found myself at home, I was called by my drycleaner telling me that I had my laundry to pick up, thankfully. The best thing I could do was wait since I had finished my plans. Not long after my mom called me and told me that she and James were back from their things they were doing that day. I rode a motorcycle taxi, boda boda, and found myself there in 10 minutes. Meeting then already at the shop, we collected my clothes, and came directly home.
